Promedour™ facilitates discreet and personalised medical coordination for individuals seeking timely access to internationally accredited private healthcare overseas. Many of our clients are professionals, business leaders and families who value discretion, efficiency and trusted access to established international medical specialists. Clients may engage our services directly or be referred by their general practitioner, specialist or healthcare provider.
Each treatment pathway is structured individually following preliminary review and coordination with our international hospital partners. Because every medical situation is unique, programme fees vary depending on the procedure, clinical requirements, hospital recommendations and the level of coordination required throughout the treatment journey.
Promedour™ does not operate as a general medical tourism marketplace where procedures are advertised with standardised pricing. Our service is clinician-led and operates within structured clinical governance standards. Our team understands medical protocols, patient safety frameworks and the importance of continuity of care.
Before any international treatment pathway is confirmed, Promedour™ facilitates preliminary coordination. This may include the collection of relevant medical documentation, liaison with the client’s GP or specialist where appropriate (with patient consent), and structured communication with the receiving hospital and treating specialist.
Promedour™ does not undertake clinical assessment, diagnosis, or medical decision-making. All clinical evaluation and treatment planning remain the responsibility of the treating medical professionals.
Promedour™ collaborates exclusively with highly established private hospitals that hold internationally recognised accreditations and maintain sustained records of clinical excellence. These institutions operate within rigorous clinical governance systems supported by advanced medical technology and experienced specialist teams.
Unlike open medical tourism marketplaces that promote procedures primarily based on price, Promedour™ focuses on clinical suitability, responsible coordination and trusted hospital partnerships.
Because each treatment pathway is reviewed individually and may vary depending on clinical findings, procedure type, hospital requirements and duration of care, pricing is provided following preliminary assessment and treatment planning.
All quotations issued by Promedour™ are provided in confidence and tailored to the specific medical programme being coordinated.
OUR FEE STRUCTURE
PRE BOOKING FEES
Promedour™ requires a Pre-Booking Fee once a client confirms their intention to proceed and coordination begins.
Pre-Booking Fees are:
- NZD $1,000 for Medical & Surgical Treatment Procedures
- NZD $300 for Health Screening Packages
This fee is credited toward the confirmed procedure or screening cost once arrangements are finalised.
WHAT DOES THE FEE INCLUDE?
The Pre-Booking Fee allows Promedour™ to begin:
- medical documentation review
- preliminary assessment
- engagement with hospital partners
- treatment proposal preparation
Administrative charges may apply if coordination progresses and a client later chooses not to proceed. Full details are outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
Promedour’s role is to ensure that each case is properly reviewed before treatment arrangements are confirmed.
Why is a Pre Booking Fee required?
International medical coordination requires preparation before procedures can be scheduled.
The Pre-Booking Fee confirms a client’s intention to proceed and allows hospitals to begin reviewing the case and reserving potential treatment dates.

TYPICAL PROGRAMME INCLUSIONS
Promedour™ coordinates structured international treatment pathways designed to support clients throughout their medical journey. While each programme is tailored to the individual and the specific treatment being undertaken, most medical and surgical procedures may include the following components.
Hospital Care
Most medical and surgical treatment procedures include hospital admission of approximately one to three nights, depending on the nature of the procedure, recovery progress and the treating specialist’s recommendations.
All procedures are performed within internationally accredited private hospitals supported by experienced clinical teams and modern medical infrastructure.
Recovery Accommodation
Some treatment pathways may include additional hotel accommodation for recovery, typically ranging from two to four nights, depending on the procedure and individual recovery requirements.
Promedour™ works with carefully selected accommodation partners and arranges stays in highly rated hotels located in close proximity to the hospital, allowing convenient access for follow-up appointments and recovery support.
These hotels provide comfortable surroundings and modern amenities and are often situated within easy reach of restaurants, convenience stores, shopping complexes, cultural venues, art galleries, beauty spas and well-regarded local dining experiences. This allows both clients and accompanying family members to enjoy a comfortable and supportive environment during the recovery period.
Clients are also welcome to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements if they prefer. Our team will coordinate the medical schedule accordingly to ensure the treatment pathway remains seamless.
Airport and Medical Transfers
For most medical and surgical programmes, airport transfers and ground transportation between the airport, hotel and hospital are arranged as part of the coordinated pathway, ensuring a smooth and well-managed experience from arrival through to treatment and recovery.
Ground Arrangements & Additional Services
Through our trusted local partners, Promedour™ may assist clients in arranging additional services where appropriate, including:
- private chauffeur services
- guided city, cultural or art gallery visits
- personal nursing care during recovery
- beauty spa or wellness services where appropriate
- travel arrangements for accompanying family members
Customer Care
Our Customer Care Team is multilingual and familiar with the local environment in Malaysia, including major cities and medical districts. Their local knowledge often assists clients in identifying suitable accommodation options, recommending places to visit, and suggesting highly regarded dining experiences during their stay.
This familiarity with the local environment can sometimes be advantageous in helping clients discover well-located accommodation, cultural destinations, art galleries and exceptional places to dine and explore while they are in Malaysia.
